Welcome to By the Waters.  My hope for you as you read this blog is that your faith in Christ will be strengthened.  That your desire for His Word will grow stronger and that you will seek Him diligently, for it is only then that you will find Him and be completely satisfied.

I’m a happily married Christian woman and the mother of two sons.  I am a follower of Jesus Christ, saved only by His Merciful Grace.  As I grew up on a farm in rural Missouri I heard about God’s grace from my parents and received the Lord when I was 10 years old in a little country church.  As I grew, the world and the Evil in the world tried to drag me back but no one, not even myself, could snatch me out of His hand, praise God!  Today I’m stronger in my faith than I have ever been and pray that each day I will continue to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of my Lord, Jesus Christ. 

I started this blog initially to just write.  As the years passed by I found my writing turning more and more towards things the Lord was teaching me in my day to day study of His Word.  I don’t know what I’ll be writing about next, but I pray that in some way it will be used for His Kingdom and for His Glory.
